Every so often, I feel the need to blog a few reminders regarding my maternity and newborn sessions. The more prepared you are, the more prepared I am for getting you scheduled at a convenient time for your family. Maternity sessions take place between 28-36 weeks of pregnancy. This often depends on what works best for your schedule and how you’re feeling, so just be sure to email once you find out youre expecting and we’ll get you scheduled at a time that works best for your family.
I schedule newborns anytime after that test is positive 🙂 I’ve even had one mom email me to schedule her maternity and newborn session before she even told her own family about the pregnancy! So fun! 😉
Newborn sessions are scheduled for approximately 7 days after your due date. Once again, all newborn sessions take place in the first ten days of life. There is a chance we’ll have to move your session once your due date nears, but that’s totally OK! Also, if an induction or csection gets scheduled sometime in the third trimester, please notify me of this so we can get your date more secure on the calendar!
