I just love this family! I’ve photographed them several times now and I’m seriously amazed at how big Mr. C has gotten. He turned two this spring and is just as precious as they come! Pretty soon, he’s going to be a big brother and I’m so excited for their family. I can’t wait to meet baby S this fall. We went to a pretty little spot in Jackson for J’s maternity session and she looks amazing and her belly is just perfect. These will probably be their last family pictures before their new little bundle arrives! So special. Thanks A family for a fun evening session. I’m just thrilled about our newborn session coming up!

I love newborns. It’s no secret. I love how excited the parents are when they come in for their session with their new precious baby. I love how tiny and innocent and perfect they are. And I love the challenge of posing and lighting and composition and everything that makes a newborn session come together. This session was no different. Little Mr. C is oh.so.adorable. I could have spent the entire day photographing him. Seriously. Thank you to the G family for allowing me to capture your new love. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek 🙂

Meet little Miss J. She was SO stinkin’ shy when she first arrived. I would ask her questions and she would whisper the answers in her mom’s ear for her to tell me 😉 We ended up pulling several of my kids toys out of my car so that she had something to keep her occupied as we took pictures and by the end of the session, she was totally warmed up and talking and playing. Totally beautiful and totally sweet…she will be a GREAT big sister in a few short months 🙂 I really loved this session…the lighting…the simplicity….just everything about it. Thanks G family for a fun evening session.
